Spiced Apple Cider

Spiced apple cider scented with warm flavors of cinnamon and cloves is lovely way to welcome guests into your home and can be enjoyed by adults & children

  • Add all the ingredients to the Instant Pot insert. Press slow cook option and cook for 2 to 4 hours.

Notes

  • You can also use homemade apple juice. In the high-speed blender make smooth juice of peeled and chopped apples. Strain the juice and add to the Instant Pot
  • Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar for a sweeter taste
  • Add a few whole allspice berries or half a teaspoon of ground allspice for a more spicy flavor
  • Short of time? Just use saute(normal) option to quickly heat up the cider. Then press the slow cook button to keep the cider hot for a few hours
  • Don't have an Instant Pot? Simply simmer the cider in a large pot on the stovetop
