A traditional Mojito typically combines white rum, fresh lime juice, mint leaves, sugar, and club soda. I love adding a twist with Homemade Pomegranate Juice, which adds a sweet and tart flavor—and keeping it alcohol-free is easy for a fun mocktail option! When fresh pomegranates aren’t in season, Pom Wonderful juice works beautifully and is available year-round.
Pomegranates bring back sweet memories for me, especially of my father’s pomegranate farm back home in India. I still recall enjoying the juicy arils fresh from the fruit and the taste of homemade pomegranate juice.
For the holiday season, I love using pomegranate arils to add color and flavor to dishes like Tandoori Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, Roasted Carrots, and Avocado Chickpea Chaat. And if you're looking for another festive mocktail, try my refreshing Pomegranate Rose Spritz!
